In 1999, Dave and Lori Burman had a vision with one goal in mind—to provide quality, fast-track, premier general contracting and turn-key construction services to the hospitality, commercial, and senior living market sectors. Their vision has been made a reality with the help of ambitious, hard working professionals. First Finish continually strives to recruit and develop highly capable people to maintain our reputation within the industry of exceeding client expectations.
First Finish is a family-run business that actually feels like a family, but operates like all big businesses and with a heightened drive to surpass the competition. It is this equal mix of dynamics that is the core reason for our retention rate of more than 95%. The corporate culture has grown organically as a result of our practice to hire by consensus. David Burman’s motto of, “Our people are our most valuable assets”, rings true through First Finish’s constant investment in the continuing education of its team members. Our staff is empowered to take control of their career. They are given the opportunity annually, to sit with their manager and talk about their career goals and how to take advantages of the resources to meet their career path. All employees are incentivized to continue their education in products, technologies and practices—all in an ongoing effort to constantly improve the services provided to clients.

Since its inception, the First Finish team has a long-standing history of giving back to the community, and staff is encouraged to volunteer in place of a workday. Funds are frequently raised and donated to worthy causes. Throughout all projects, we work with local chapters of Habitat for Humanity to provide furniture to homes and shelters where it is needed most. With partner support, construction materials are utilized and good-will renovations are implemented to organizations that are in need.
