Capitol Hill Hotel’s Deck 11 Features Large Pool, Great Views
An 8,000-square-foot rooftop space at YOTEL Washington DC features an 800-square-foot pool, sun decks, and resort cabanas.

WASHINGTON, DC — Deck 11 at YOTEL Washington DC is now complete and officially open for hotel guests and the public.

The 8,000-square-foot rooftop space at 415 New Jersey Avenue, NW features an 800-square-foot pool, sun decks, resort cabanas equipped with charging stations, communal fire pits, yard games, DJ booth, VIP section and lounge offering full food and beverage service.

YOTEL Washington DC’s Deck 11 is named after the location level of the building. The rooftop lounge offers guests a view of the U.S. Capitol dome. Grand opening events, including live DJ sets, will kick-off in July as the rooftop celebrates its debut.

Deck 11 offers an array of seating arrangements that include four resort cabanas, 26 lounge chairs, lounge seating clusters with and without firepits, a communal dining table with 12 barstools and bar next to the pool with 12 barstools at the countertop and 11 high-top tables scattered throughout the area.

The Deck 11 rooftop is the third and final phase of completion for the hotel construction and conversion in partnership with hospitality architecture and project management firm, Jonathan Nehmer + Associates and design studio Wimberly Interiors.

“Whether you are taking a break from the pool or popping up before or after a day of exploring the city, Deck 11 is the perfect spot to sip a cocktail or a beer while enjoying made-to-order cuisine,” said Shawn Jervis, general manager of YOTEL Washington DC. “The rooftop offers a casual atmosphere by day and high-energy by night, against a beautiful skyline in the heart of Capitol Hill. Our revamped rooftop pool and flexible layout ensure that Deck 11 is a space for everyone, at any time of the day, and any time of the year.”

Guests on Deck 11 can enjoy a wide selection of craft cocktails, wine and beer in addition to a dining menu created by Chef Danny Chavez, who also serves as chef for Art and Soul, the restaurant on the main level of the hotel.

Deck 11 is open daily and is offered complimentary for hotel guests, while public day passes are available at $50 per person. Cabana rentals are offered for both hotel guests and the public at $300 per day. Reservations are available on Deck11rooftop.com. Deck 11 is also available to host small or large private events.

YOTEL Washington DC marks the brand’s 10th hotel under development or open in the U.S.
