Project Highlights
The guest room renovation included 75 tub-to-shower conversions as well as the installation of new vanities, plumbing fixtures, electrical devices, back-lit mirrors, decorative lighting, and full FF&E package.
Public space renovations consisted of the lobby, lounge area, restaurant, bar, ballroom, meeting rooms, and public restrooms.
A brand new lighting control system was installed throughout the lobby and restaurant spaces.
The custom-designed bar and reception desk were fully repositioned.
The entry experience was updated to include new millwork panels to match the existing entry.

Project Scope
The Kimpton Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City is an historic property that has played a role in the evolution of Salt Lake City since the 1860’s, with aspects of the building dating back to the Second Renaissance Revival. The complete guest room and public space renovation consisted of 225 guest rooms and suites including 10 ADA rooms, corridors, and all aspects of public space. The renovation was performed in 16 weeks and covered 130,000 square feet of space.
